FIRST JURY MEETING, EUROPAN 14
On Saturday, September 23rd, the first mmeting of the jury of the Europan 14 competition took place in Zagreb, for the site of the former electrodes and ferroalloys plant in Šibenik.
The meeting was attended by members of the jury, architects Iva Letilović, Ingrid Gojević, Ana Šverko, Zoran Zidarić, Vasa J. Perović, prof. Tihomir Jukić and Lulzim Kabashi.
Among the 23 received entries, the jury selected 6 to be considered in the second round of jury work. The jury concluded that it is essential to choose an entry that can be implemented in phases and which can provide the town of Šibenik with a good conceptual basis for further elaboration of the Spatial Plan.
The jury will award the first and second prizes at the final, second session, which will take place on November 11th. The results of the competition are published simultaneously for all Europan sites.
